Is McCarthyism a mental disorder?

After reading some of the content on Trevor Loudon's New Zeal blog it will be evident to anyone unfortunate enough to have done so that old Loudon seems to be a few pies short of a pie rack.

However to give Loudon the benefit of the doubt, lets for a moment consider the notion that perhaps he is not the mentally deranged raving lunatic that he comes across as. No, perhaps this is just a chronic case of red-baiting McCarthyism meets the THIRD RED SCARE.

Our definition of the Third Red Scare:

Forward the blame of anything bad in the world to Communism and Anarchism without any real reasoning other than it helps whip up hysteria and it helps you feel relevant with your McCarthyist Disorder Syndrome.

Fortunately in this country there are only a handfool of people caught up in the Loudonic hysteria that exists in the mind of the big TL. He will better enjoy his time in the USA, the home of the original McCarthyists. Lets hope the socialist regime of Obama doesn't nab him at the border and truck him off to the salt mines in Siberia...Utah.

Red-baiting (From Wikipedia)

Red-baiting is the act of accusing someone, or some group, of being communist, socialist or, in a broader sense, of being significantly more leftist at their core than they may appear at the outset. The term is used mainly with the intention of discrediting the individual's or organization's political views as dishonest and/or haphazard. The implication in red-baiting is usually that the target represents an ill-intentioned external force which has no proper place in a given political party, coalition, or union.

Alternatively, red-baiting can also be a tactic by a critic of communism wherein s/he raises negative aspects of countries or governments which the communist is supposed to support (notably the Soviet Union and China) with the intent of "trapping" the communist into conceding that his/her ideas are part of a totalitarian ideological structure.

Red-baiting is more often associated with McCarthyism. In the early 21st century, it does not have quite the far-reaching effect it did during either of the two historic Red Scare periods of the 1920s (First Red Scare) and 1950s (Second Red Scare) due to the crisis of socialism after the dissolution of the Soviet Union and mainstream centre-left intellectuals and political parties of the West embracing Third Way centrism.

A somewhat contrary view would hold that there has been a persistent and concerted effort associated with conservatism in the United States since at least the time of Ronald Reagan of using a more subtle form of red-baiting to influence changes in the federal judiciary (by denouncing "activist judges"), the mass media (by accusing it of having a "liberal bias"), and the faculties of colleges and universities (by portraying them as "reeducation camps").

Red-baiting came to be used by John McCain, Republican nominee for president in the 2008 United States election, when he labeled Democrat nominee and current president Barack Obama as a socialist. Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh accused Obama of "Far-left Collectivism", however many supporters and critics have argued that Obama's policies are centrist and in line with those of Bill Clinton.

Trevor Loudon has put his life and career as a baker on the line to expose the third resurgence of communism. The first was in the 1920s, the second was after WWII and now if it wasn't for Mr Loudon we would be invaded by red devilled communists and all their enterrorage of food courts, pirated DVDs and cheap knock-offs of our shoes.

"Free nations are peaceful nations. Free nations don't attack each other. Free nations don't develop weapons of mass destruction." President George Bush

That dickhead made that quote while he was president of a country that has the largest stockpile of weapons of mass destruction in the known universe.

I just want to remind you idiots that the world is not fighting communism anymore its fighting al qaeda terrorism.

Focusing on communism is a distraction and is drawing energies away from our terror wars. Anyone that does this is supporting terror.

All you anti-communists and smelly anarchists then have a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists!

In the famous words of Richard Nixon: "I'm glad I'm not Brezhnev. Being the Russian leader in the Kremlin. You never know if someone's tape recording what you say."
